Promotions within Tulane SOM

Dr. Paul Gladden has recently taken on the role as Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education and the Designated Institutional Official. “I am committed to doing my part in making progress and helping bring more success for the University, enhancing teamwork and equity, diversity and inclusion,” said Dr. Gladden. Also, Dr. Mary K. Mulcahey was appointed to Assistant Dean of Faculty Affairs. Dr. Mulcahey serves an important role in the Dean’s Office working with the Senior Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs in providing insight & support of activities including, but not limited to, personnel and honors review processes, recruitment, retention, growth, and development of high quality and diverse faculty, interactions with the General Medical Faculty and the Office of Multi-Cultural Affairs.
