You don’t have to leave St. Bernard Parish/Chalmette to get the world-class care you want! Dr. Gleb Medvedev is a Tulane Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialized training in hand surgery. His interests lie in peripheral nerve injuries, wrist arthroscopy, and hand trauma. Dr. Medvedev performs endocscopic carpal tunnel release, arthroscopic TFCC repair, and other procedures to maximize the speed of recovery in his patients. So if you’re experiencing symptoms such as pain in your wrist, hand, or fingers, or if you’ve been told you have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, DeQuervain’s, Trigger Finger or Thumb, or if you believe you have arthritis from an old injury, Dr. Medvedev is the Doctor you want. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a hand surgery fellowship at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. In addition to caring for you, our faculty teach the next generation of Orthopaedic Surgeons so they have to stay current on the latest treatments and techniques.

From almost anywhere from St. Bernard Parish/Chalmette it is a 20 - 30 minute drive to one of Dr. Medvedev’s office's. He’s at Tulane Medical Center and the Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine. We try to limit the patients there to sports-related problems, but if that’s the most convenient time and place for you, he’ll see you there!
